HOW WE WORK
Our approach is based on some fundamental principles:
- close cooperation with the local population, for a careful analysis of children's needs, as well as with local partners to implement effective and long-lasting interventions;
- sustainable projects, that are not restricted to solve immediate problems but that consolidate over time, promoting the development of the community;
- respect for the religion, ethnicity and culture of origin, guaranteeing equal opportunities for boys and girls;
- targeted interventions for each child and the community in which they live.
- the 80% of the funds raised is used for the implementation of our interventions. Only the 20% is allocated to the management and promotion of child sponsorship.
There are over 2,000 children being supported at long-distance thanks to over 30 projects carried out in Ethiopia, Haiti, Peru, Central African Republic, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Uganda.
