How we intervene
COOPI draws up policies on key issues in its operations in which it has a well-proven track record.
The aim of the policies is two-fold:
• They help the organization identify the key issues regarding its programs, as well as share and agree on a working approach.
• They establish and make known the organization’s position on the different topics of interest.
The policies therefore complete the organization’s values and vision by providing greater detail on its working methods and the strategy underpinning the programs defined by the organization.
COOPI has already published policies on Food Security, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction, Childhood and Gender and will soon be publishing policies on Nutrition and Protection, thus completing the framework of the organization’s main areas of intervention.
