Descrizione: This Program is divided into various phases and was begun in February 2000 with a contribution of ? 1,011,000 from ECHO for the first 9-month phase in 2005 (April-December 2005 ? the 8th phase of the project). It calls for nutritional treatment activities to be carried out in 18 centers and 3 hospitals in the northeastern district of the Ituri, aimed at reducing malnutrition in the area, improving knowledge regarding the nutritional conditions of the population, and reducing the risks involved in blood transfusions. The Program will include a reorganization of the healthcare centers in the province, and the distribution of medicine and healthcare materials
