COOPI invites you to apply to the Intensive Program 2015 on “New Development Cooperation: between milestones and current trends”, organized together with the Cooperation and Development Network, thanks to the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
The Intensive Program 2015 on “New Development Cooperation: between milestones and current trends”, which will be held in Pavia 13-17th April 2015, represents the chance to present and discuss the various aspects in which development cooperation is changing through time.
The course is organized by the Cooperation and Development Network (CDN).
This Intensive Program 2015, taught in English, aims at presenting the deep changes in Development Cooperation, occurred by the various changing geo-political scenarios through the last decade.
The course will analyse the main instruments that are of utmost importance for professionals in the cooperation world.
The program, which will be characterized by lectures, exercises and simulations, will mainly focus on:
- a) New theoretical and political scenarios (the debate on the post 2015 agenda, the importance of the Capability Approach and Social Inclusion, the effects of climate change on development and human rights, the impact investing perspective and the role of the emerging actors in international cooperation);
- b) New challenges for the New Development Cooperation (aid effectiveness, accountability, impact evaluation).
The Intensive Program 2015 is open to a maximum of 10 participants and is addressed to professionals, aspiring professionals, members of organization within the Third Sector, project managers but also researchers in the field of Development Cooperation.

Deadline for enrolment is set at the 6th April 2015.
The fee is set at € 300,00.
Special discounts are set for candidates working in NGOs, Institutions partner of the CDN, students enrolled at the University of Pavia and IUSS and for specific disadvantaged categories.
