CAR: wishing a happy Indipendence Day

COOPI would like to wish to the entire Central African population a happy Independence Day.

COOPI's commitment in CAR began in 1974 with a rural development project in Ngaoundaye (Ouham Pendé). Since then, COOPI has carried out actions in its various sectors of activity including health, education, protection and food security with a multisector and community approach. Currently, COOPI is acting as a humanitarian actor in the eastern part of the country in the areas of education in emergencies, protection (including child protection and gender-based violence), as well as in the early recovery and development in the Lobaye and the Ombella-M'Poko Prefectures. COOPI carries out more projects in the areas of Camp Coordination and Camp Management, food security/ nutrition, education and after school support to vulnerable children.

COOPI is operational in the Prefectures of: Bangui, Lobaye, Ombella-M'Poko, Ouaka, Haut-Mbomou, Basse-Kotto and Haute-Kotto.
