COOPI is looking for a Data Analyst in Jordan
COOPI has been registered in Jordan since 2017, implementing projects in protection, education and livelihood. COOPI assists both the Syrian population and host community in responding to the effects of the Syrian crisis. COOPI is currently implementing child protection and education projects funded AICS.
Description of the role
The Data Analyst reports to and receives instructions from the Project Managers in the performance of his or her duties. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the data analyst will be responsible for coordinating the social workers and referral officer on their outreach activities and for the analysis of the VAF (Vulnerability Assessment Framework) assessment and scores.
Main responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Data Analyst will be responsible of the following tasks:
- Review the VAF tool and adapt to the project scope of work, and based on the input from the PM, social worker and Partner;
- Develop online tool to collect the data;
- Organize training for the social worker and the staff of the partner on how to conduct outreach and on the tools used to collect the data;
- Verify that data are collected regularly and in the correct way;
- Regularly assign score and share the list of eligible target population with Social workers;
- Prepare the baseline and endline report;
- Ensure maintaining high confidentiality of information, up-to-date documents, including processes and verification;
- Provide support to the Project Manager in collecting and analyzing data;
- Provide support to the Project Manager in preparing reports on the part related to the data analysis.
Requirements
Essentials
- Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, Economic, International Cooperation;
- Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience;
- Ability to plan activities to reach target results and objectives;
- Experience in field of outreach and data analysis;
- Experienced in preparing/revising reports;
- Excellent reporting skills/experience in reporting protection activities and issues;
- Ability to plan and organize work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment;
- Solid team working and management skills in multicultural environment;
- Positive, problem solver and dynamic with ability to motivate and guide staff;
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
