No one left behind
Despite the considerable progress made in global health in the past twenty years, inequities, not just in terms of income or wealth, but also in terms of access to health systems, still persist. We talk about it during "No one Left behind: Global Health, Access to Care, Inequalities and Migration", to be held on Monday, 10th of July 2017 in Rome, Viale Regina Elena 299, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..
The eventi is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Global Fund, and the Friends of the Global Fund Europe, in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) and the Ministry of Health.
An opportunity to increase awareness of global health inequities and inform Italian stakeholders of the outcomes of the G7 and G20 in relation to global health and to discuss upcoming challenges in relation to global health and migration issues. Achieving the targets set in the 2030 Agenda and ensuring health and well-being for all, with particular attention to vulnerable populations such us migrants and people living in areas of crisis, requires strong global leadership.
